CASE WITH POOR BACKUP SERVICE

I bank with Standard Bank and a large amount of money was taken out of my account due to. After many hours on the phone (most of the time on hold) and a few weeks later, Standard Bank finally re-paid me my money. To my disgrace and only a month and a bit later, the same transactions went off my account. Once again the hour long phone calls started. This time is was actually Standard Bank who re-routed the transactions to my new card. Without warning they just took the money from my account. In both cases, there were certain fees that Standard Bank charged me due to the repercussions of the. It was an absolute nightmare to try and get Standard Bank to reverse these fees, let alone reimburse me for my phone bill. I am absolutely disgusted with the service that I have received thus far, I'm not sure why a pay monthly for this. I have banked with Standard Bank all my life but think the road should end now. I will definitely not promote Standard Bank in the future.
