Account debited after cancellation

I received an email that my FNB insurance broker policy would be taken over by Auto and General effective 1/10/2013, with a 110% increase in premium even though I didn't claim. I proceeded to cancel the current FNB broker policy. On the 1 /10/02013 I was debited the full premium for the FNB broker policy. I contacted the call centre on the day requesting a refund and explanation. I was told to send a written request for a refund. I have heard nothing from them since. Calling the call centre(08613280328) I was on hold for 16 min!!!!!! Can someone tell me what's going on?????
