I called FNB Sandton, 4 Merchant place to find out if they had forex for me, the tired sounding switchboard board operator, Mzkwakhe, did not know what forex was... I said it in full the 2nd time around. He said he'll transfer me to forex team but took a whole 50 seconds to do so. When I was eventually transferred to forex, Nomasonto answered the call and I told her of my disatisfaction with Mzwakhe, she then apologised and I informed her that I need forex. She said she'll transfer me to someone else who deals with that... why did Mzwakhe put the call to the wrong person? Forex didn't pick up the call and the call bounced back to Nomasonto. I then asked her to speak to forex just to check if they have enough USD... the entire call took 7mins 17secs. Unbelievable... This is the one branch I like and suddenly the standard is dropping. This is not the 1st time I received the bad service. When I went to the bad for the visa letter I got the same kind of service, they looked for the one consultant, Sibusiso Mashinini, for a whole 15mins. What's the problem?
