I used to honour ABSA and everything they portrayed. Firstly, I am sick to death of them invading my privacy at 07h00 in the morning or 18h00 at night, to tell me my credit card is over the limit. I have repeatedly told them that I have made arrangements to pay a certain amount until such time as the card is brought back in line. These people continue to harass me and I am sure other people, outside working hours!!! Besides the fact that I have been a very loyal client of this bank since a little girl, with several vehicle finance agreements and personal loan, I have never faltered on a single payment. For the record, I paid the loan in full a whole year earlier than it was due. But, now that things are a little tough and my account has been hacked, which they turned a blind eye to, they continue to pick on people like me, because I don't have millions in their bank. Guaranteed, they don't harass the rich people. I even approached them for another personal loan... unsuccessful - why, because they are a farce - they are not interested in helping the ordinary man on the street!!! Highly un-recommended - Clearly, from the nature of other complaints, I am well supported!
