Had a minor accident on the 17 August 2013, Discovery Insure promised to sort out the repairs and I left everything up to them. NOTHING HAPPENED, on the 4 September 2013, they approved the claim and sent the car to their chosen panel beater. Already 2 weeks lost on the claim but had the use of an Avis car through Discovery Insure so no big deal as the panel beater said no more than a week, but no updates from Discovery Insure on the progress of the claim. A call to the Panel Beater and their inform me they have not started the job. Called Discovery Insure and their promised to get back to me still waiting for the call. Avis sent me an SMS wanting the car back, I called Discovery Insure again, Still no call back. This afternoon 30 September Avis arrived at my Gate and demanded the Car from me, They tracked the car and confiscated it. Earlier in the day I had spoke to Call Centre Manager, who promised to call back. When Avis took the car I called Discovery still waiting for the call back.
My dad had an Accident in November 2012 and only got his Car back at the End of January 2013. Endless call to Discovery Insure nothing helped, Avis on his back every week.
30 September no Car.
