I applied to have my credit card re-instated, I went into the branch to start the process, filled out all the forms, handed in all the documents. Was then told I needed a letter from the card division. Took them 4 days to send it. Then my application was sent in. 1 week later I was told it had been sent but lost, the excuse was that an admin Clark had sent it and not kept the proof. So it was sent again. 1 week after that I was told it the income expenditure was not completed properly, so I had to go in and sign the form again and provide another copy of my pay slip as the old one had scribbles all over it. That was a week ago. I was told the documents had been sent off. Today I was told that the document I signed had been shredded by mistake (so it was never sent off in the first place) can I come in again to do a new one. When I complained about the distance I had to travel to do this I was told I could go into my closest bank and take all the relevant forms (Again) and start the application from the beginning.
I think I will be joining my wife and will now finally move all my accounts over to another bank. Hopefully the service will be better.
