About a year ago my account was incorrectly debited with a daily amount. Std bank helped to correct this and I thought that the problem was resolved but last week received a statement from the bank with an inflated amount. Upon querying with the bank I was told by the then branch manager Blessing that she will come back to me within the week but I get a call from a staff member informing me that the inflated amount was interest on my outstanding amount.which was almost double what I owed the bank. I then mailed the bank and a regional manager and got a call from two staff members who were very apologetic and pleasant and have asked for some time to go through my account from the beginning of the problem and see what went wrong. Hopefully we will resolve this amicably. Just want this to go on record that it is now a year and I have been paying interest on an incorrect amount that Std bank so kindly think they have loaned me
