We have a bond with Absa, my husband got boarded and we took his pension money to pay off our bond. We went to Absa told the lady we want to pay off our bond she gave us the full and final settlement, which we paid. Then a few months later, to our surprise we receive a letter from Absa informing us that we still owe R2000.00. we went to Absa and the lady informs us that the money was put in our flexi account and that the bond has not been paid, the R2000 is interest and we have to pay it again, which we did. she informed us our bond is now paid in full. Yesterday AGAIN we receive a letter from lawyers stating that now we owe Absa Bank a further R6604.63 together with interest of 8, 4%!!! How can this be!!! Where is my money going to??? When will this ever end???
