Claim2447348 - horrendous service

15 Sept-geyser broke, informed Absa. It was still under guarantee and only by Wednesday Kwikot delivered a geyser. Not installed as they can't open a roof and don't have contractors. Kwikot also does not want to give a new warranty on the new geyser. The ceiling has water damage and a contractor THABANG Llenyakallo was assigned and wanted to come on Sunday. This was not suitable. New appointment -Monday 23 Sept, 10h00.He never showed up. Making excuses he arranged for 16h00. Still no show. After calling him 3x he eventually showed up past 17h00. He was under the influence of alcohol. You could smell it and hear it. I couldn't risk having him in my house so we did not want him to enter. He stood outside taking photos of our house. I am a very unhappy customer. I have been paying my insurance for years and the time that I actually need it the service is non existent. I now have expenses that I incurred by having the geyser installed or still sit without warm water. KEEP IN MIND THAT WE HAVE A BABY AT HOME! still sitting with a ceiling that has water damage and no reputable contractor to fix it? What is ABSA home owners insurance going to do about this?
