Old Mutual recently contacted me that I qualify for a Investment refund. They then requested that I send original bank statements and certified copy of my ID. I find this strange as they've been deducting amounts from the same bank account previously. I then posted the original documents to Old Mutual on the 9th September 2013 for a policy payout. On the 16th September 2013 I spoke to one of their consultants only to find out that they have not receive the documents as yet. On the 23 September 2013 I phoned them again and still the same story and they asked me to email the necessary documents. The documents was emailed this morning the 25th September 2013 and their response is that I will be contacted in 5 working days. When I phoned on the 16th September the lady told me that she will come back to me via email and i am still waiting. I also asked her to arrange with a consultant to come and see me because I want to take out another policy but with NO luck. Is this the kind of service my family will get when Old Mutual needs to pay out my funeral policy?
