I have not had one good thing happen from the start of my dad's death. The estate was handed over to Schuman van den Heever & Slabbert in Kempton Park. I asked them for numbers to contact the lawayers handling the sale of assets from the estate and he refused to give me the details. I do believe that serious misconduct has hapenned in the handling of my dad's estate. And we will not be seeing one cent of a 8 million rand estate. This is absolute non sense. Schuman van Den Heever & Slabbert Attorneys in Kempton Park also has not let Standard bank know that there are higher offers pending "in stead trying to save themselves" they refuse to give us the numbers of contact people that can be contacted. My dad trusted absa with his estate in the event of his death and I have had nothing but problems with Absa and then NOW Schumann van den Heever and Slabbert. BEWARE when giving your resposabilities over to a bank when you die. They do not feel anything for your kids or your family... Rather appoint a family member as executor of your estate and hand in hand a lawayer but not a bank. They are very unhelpfull...
