I got retrenched last year and couldnt not keep up with all my commitments, since January i have been paying debt busters and recieving monthly statements from them with Balances from my creditors i called in to discuss the balances showing on the statement and was advised that these are not always up to date. I requested updated balances in July. I emailed them last week again because i had not recieved anything and asked them to send me a RECON of exactly what i have paid to date as well as the acurate balance. I have created my own spreadsheet of what i have paid on a monthly basis, what the initial balance was and the interest on each creditor. I got an email yesterday with some balances not all and my car in particular is now 57 000 more than the initial balance, then where is the money i pay towards that each month? i wasnt given a proper recon of what i asked for and we constantly get calls from creditors saying that we are owe them money. Debtbusters has not make this process at all easy for us and i am extremely dissapointed with them. I have almost paid R50 000 since January but my balances are now more on some of the items???!!!
