On Wednesday 4th September I took my A-Class Mercedes into a Merc Specialist to repair the starter motor. On Friday morning I received a call from the Merc Specialist to say that the vehicle was ready but Motorite were giving them the run around. They had spoken to Sean in Customer Services who was helpful but later transferred to Darron Fortes who was aggressive from the word go. Long story short, I was informed, by the Merc Specialist following their conversation with Sean, that I could pay for the repairs and claim the money back from Motorite. I made the payment and collected the vehicle. On Tuesday 10th September I received a call from Darron Fortes, Motorite Claims Administrator, stating that the claim was rejected. This was a surprise to me and my argument was why NO ONE from Motorite called me during the claims process to inform me that the Merc Specialist (apparently) had not followed the claims process. Darron then proceeded, and sent me an email, to assist me with the claim. About an 1/2 hour later he called to say that Motorite will no longer be paying out the claim. Complete u-turn for a R3500 claim - what next!!!
