I would like to send my complaints regarding Outsurance, short term insurance namely Motor Vehicle.
Firstly in June 2013 we had an accident which was our fault, yet Outsurance would not pay for the damages of the 3rd party saying that it was and I quote an
"EMERGENCY REACTION" and not an accident. Outsurance paid our damages. How do we face the third party and why do you have insurance is it not in the event of an accident?
Secondly, yesterday 11 September our Ford bantam bakkie canopy was broken into and tools was. This morning I reported the incident to Outsurance claim department and was horrified to learn that the canopy was not specified on the insurance yet the vehicle was taken to their assessment centre for inspection when I joined Outsurance and with the accident in June 2013 their assessors came to inspect the vehicle damage, did neither of their people see the canopy?? If the canopy was not on the bakkie would they have paid for the tool case and tools???
Outsurance is ripping us off!!!
