Settlement of credit card

On the 27th of August 2013 I did phone FNB card division to find out what is the settlement amount on my credit card. The consultant told me that it is R24-50 if a pay it the same day but if I would pay it the next day it would be R24-74. On the 29th of August I did went to FNB bank and did made a deposit of R26-00 in to the FNB credit card account. The same day I did send a e-mail to [Email Removed] to give them proof of my settlement payment and that they must closed this account. I have proof of e-mail delivery and read receipt. Yesterday the 11th of September 2013 I did receive an e-mail statement showing that I must pay R53-00 on the 3rd of October 2013. When I did phone the card division they told me that it is a R30-00 deposit amount plus the monthly instalment, they will listen to the voice recording of that day and come back to me but no one did phone me back. It is unacceptable because they did give me the settlement amount and I did even pay more than the correct amount. As far as I know if you did pay a settlement amount you are done with that company. I will not pay that extra amount because I did pay more than the settlement amount that FNB did tell me.
