I have been on miway for less than 3months and had negotiated a fair premium which does not include excess, but last week they (miway) sent me a revised policy schedule with R3300 excess. WTH? and when i asked the consltuted (christina) she said "all insurance companies have included a minimum excess on ALL their clients because clients without excess claim a lot" REALLY? It looks as if this the company's way of luring clients with their low premius then impose excess on them without even consulting them. This is not really a train smash but if they can do this to customer now, you ask yourself they will be able to help you when you submit a claim or they will tell you about about another surprise they did on your policy without consulting you.
