Motorite Administrators
Refusal to honor claim

In October 2011 I purchased a vehicle from "All Cars". As per the dealership advice the sale included the purchase of a Motorite warranty.
A few months later tragedy struck when the engine failed

"S&S Auto" (RMi approved) inspected the engine and concluded it was beyond repair.
They advised on the claim process as they had done with a previous successful claim which I had years ago.

I required the vehicle repaired ASAP and left all in the hands of S&S Auto, who advised that they would submit a warranty claim to Motorite.
I managed to source a 2nd hand engine.
As common sense dictates, the motor was completely rebuilt and re-engineered.
The total repair cost R19259. S&S Auto advised that as the repair was expensive and due to warranty claims taking a fair amount of time to be processed, I should pay cash and once Motorite settled the claim I would be reimbursed. Now Motorite refuses to pay the claim because the claim process wasn't done according to their requirements. I have kept my end of the agreement in having the vehicle repaired at an RMi approved centre, but now I'm being penalised because the repair centre did not follow Motorite's required procedures.
