Poor Buisness Conduct

I Applied for a personal loan at my local branch and as I am a long time client of African Bank the loan was approved in minutes. The staff was friendly and made copy's of my ID document and Payslip. Within a few minutes the documents were signed and a representative from head office contacted me to tell me the loan was approved and funds will be available within 24 hrs.

On Friday 6/9/2013 i had to call the hotline as the funds were not reflecting on my account. The had to still do a Job conformation. I instructed them to speed up the process.

On Sunday 8/9/2013 at about 11.30 a so called agent stating that she is calling from African Bank called me to confirm personal details over the phone. With all the going around i refused to give personal information over the phone as I don't trust the person on the other side plus she was calling from a cellphone.

What Bank conducts business on a Sunday plus phones the clients to confirm Personal details over the phone. Monday morning i called my branch only to find out my loan has been rejected.
