Reversal of debit orde

Phoned ABSA What i must do if i want to reverse a debit order. Can i do it via email or do i need to go an ABSA Branch to have this done. I was told by an ABSA consultant I can email ABSA they will be able to assist me. Well never the less I emailed ABSA only to be told by ABSA client services and I quote: Please be advised to visit your nearest Absa Branch with your green barcode Identity document and proof of address not older than 3 months for assistance with regard to your request. Kindly accept our apologies for any inconvenience. This is unacceptable Why does the one consultant tell you this and the next tell you the a complete different story. It makes you wonder do they know what they are doing and to crown it all they are dealing with our money. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with the service I receive from ABSA in over all.
