How much longer until I can use internet banking?

I recently changed my mobile number and went to an ABSA branch to update my number for NotifyMe texts and internet banking. The NotifyMe system accepted my number, the internet banking system however did not. I then accidentally locked myself out of internet banking and when my credentials were reset by the bank... I was asked for an RVN. So now I can't access my account at all. I can't see my balance or pay existing beneficiaries, add new beneficiaries or buy airtime. Meanwhile ABSA is happily billing my internet banking fee. When after fruitless branch visits, calls and emails I voiced my frustration on Twitter, I received a very snotty and unhelpful response. How long can it take to update your system? I can't pay any accounts and have to ask others to pay it for me and give them cash - this is beyond unacceptable.
