5cents and third try. ridiculous

I made the biggest mistake when I got a revolving loan account beginning of the year.
Friday I phoned FNB to close the account. I logged in online. Selected close and settle. Paid the amount due -and that should have been that. While doing this I was on the phone with a premier banking consultant who said he will find out from the loan manager to close the account and get back to, me (he never did and there was no reference nr. given) then I phoned again today to close where the lady told me she has referred it to her manager. Phones me later to say that it cannot be closed as there is still 5cents outstanding... And no I am not making this up-although it sounds ridiculous. So I had to go and settle the account AGAIN for 5 cents!? FNB where did you learn to do mathematics? I'm at it but you guys... Wow. Wether the account gets closed remains to be seen.
Whoever is managing the personal loans for FNB should (as per fnb's response from a previous complaint I lodged) go on a refresher course (which the staff never did).
One thing is for sure- I'd rather run into a brick wall than do any business with the FNB loans departement.
