I have sent numerous emails to African Bank to try and make a payment arrangement (I have been in hospital for 6 weeks - I sent them proof thereof). As I work at a school I am unable to take calls during the day (which I have also informed them of). A lady from Clearwater phoned me and we set up a payment arrangement, however, when I got paid African Bank took off double of the full amount (we agreed on R1000 and they took off R4000). I had to cancel the payments as I can not afford to pay my entire salary to African Bank which is why I set up a payment arrangement. Aside from African Bank not sticking to the agreed payment plan they have now phoned my work and spoken to one of my co-workers about this (under the premise of needing to confirm employment). UNPROFESSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST. I intend on reporting African Bank to the credit bureau.
