I've been with Oneplan for 2 years. When I signed up I went on the Core plan because I don't have any serious health issues. My biggest worry was unplanned pregnancy. I made sure to clarify (over 2 years have passed, I don't know who I spoke to) that if I did fall pregnant I could upgrade my policy and be covered for labour and reasonable claims regarding the pregnancy. I was told I could do this which is the only reason I did the dumb thing and signed with a relatively unknown medical insurance. I'm now pregnant. I called OnePlan on 7 January (again, not sure who I spoke to but they record their calls so they can see this) and was told that I could upgrade immediately and the waiting period for labour and birth would be diminished because I have been a customer with them for so long. I'm due in September. Imagine my surprise when I called today and was told I can only upgrade in April and the birth will not be covered due to the 1 year waiting period. I've since emailed Oneplan with no response. I'm disgusted that I was advised wrong in the first place over something I clearly questioned After browsing the net I notice many people were misinformed to land a sale! No idea what now!
