Struggling to get PayPal money via FNB

A friend deposited money in May 2013 via PayPal. I'm unable to access this money unless I have an FNB online account. I was told to create one as I dont' bank with FNB. Online registration failed continuously.
I called PayPal who put me in touch with FNB online. i dealt via email with Vakele Natwala,
I was told that because I had an account with FNB in the Free State, the address details still show on their system, but I closed my account 2005.
My new address gets thrown out with 'invalid address' msg. I was told by this consultant on 4 occasions to send a screenshot of the mgs, This I did. No response however. When i sent email saying i was unhappy with service I got this msg "Good Day I did escalate it to the admin department and they should actually get in touch with you because I did follow the right procedures on my side " This is passing the buck. I was then sent this email: "Hi Taz I just received communication from the technical desk there is a problem and they confirmed that all issues should be resolved before the 6th of Aug" I tried again today -same msg. 23mnths later, still can't get my money. Will FNB pay interest as they never wait to be paid? No, don't think so.
