First National Bank
Wallet in bank

I drew money from the ATM outside the FNB Branch in Centurion. I then went directly to the tellers' secure area in the bank. After filling in a deposit slip, I turned towards the tellers, forgetting my wallet on the counter. Leaving the counter I felt for my wallet, to take the cash out. Realising that I left my wallet on the counter, i turned back. my wallet was gone.

I went to the security at the main entrance and explained my situation to him. I then had to go show him where I was in the teller area. He then directed me to the bank staff at the entrance to the bank. I had to explain my situation again. Again we went to the teller area to show where I was. All this time I asked if they could not just view their surveillance videos, just to check who took it. At this stage a third person was brought to come listen to the same story. She then agreed to go check the cameras, but not before saying that the cameras were most probably not going to pick up the incident.
My concerns are: -
1. What was this gentleman doing in your 'secure teller area'?
2. What procedures does FNB have in place to address such incidents with even a semblence of urgency
