I have been charged the incorrect card fee by Discovery. Then on the same day they had the audacity to charge me interest on the incorrect fee, as this was the only outstanding charge on my account.
Upon reporting this, the error was attributed to 2 cards have previously cancelled according to them, which is definitely not the case, as I have never cancelled a card. I was promised a reversal of the charge, and same day feedback, neither of which happened.
The question to ask is: How many accounts are incorrectly billed, without the holders realising it. This is the practice of common thugs.
Follow up calls were without satisfaction, as the only response from the consultants are: "The query has been escalated". I now wish to close my whole portfolio (Card, Life, Health) with Discovery and do business with honest people.
Assistance in reversing the charge and interest will be greatly appreciated.
