I bought a Bakkie trough Absa Motor finance, The lady who helped me said that becaus I am a bying a per-owned Bakkie that I realy have to take theire Pre-owned Vehical Machanical Breakdown Insurance.
she assured me that if my bakkie breakdown that this insurance will help me. So Yes my Bakkie broke down and i got it towed in.
A Few Months Before that my bakkie got broken in to, And my log book got, So I lost the service history of the bakkie. I then called the people where I bought the bakkie and got all the service history from them.they still refused to help me, so to make a long storry short they did not pay out, their call center staff((Keith and Thornton) put the phone down twice in my ear, and their complaints telephone number (011 330 2260) doesn't even work
This is the worst Pre-owned Vehical Machanical Breakdown Insurance ever if i can advise you please dont deal with Absa Pre-owned Vehical Machanical Breakdown Insurance (innovation group).
I am still waiting for a Phone call from their Complaints Department. Standard Bank much better and cheaper and help full.
