Miway rectified an incorrect policy activation

Miway activated a policy contract pre-maturely and debited my account for the full monthly premium. I informed them of the misunderstanding and the service person Seitshiro Mokgatlha dealt with my compliant upon first instance. He promised to either cancel my contract from inception with a full refund of the debit or to cancel the policy with a one month effective notice. This was subject to reviewing the telphonic sales call to verify my acceptance or non acceptance of the policy activation.

He then contacted me well within 24 hrs later and after discussion confirmed that I had in fact not accepted the policy activation in terms of the prescribed process. He then confirm that my policy would be cancelled from inception and that my debits would be fully refunded. I then received signed and written confirmation from the head of client services that my policy had in deed been cancelled due to me never accepting the cover. I still await the refund to reflect in my bank acccount however this will probably be within the next day or two.

Miway did what they said they would do and upon query did not hesitate to satisfy my request. The entire query was handeled professionally.
