First National Bank
Unable to Help Because ID in Maiden Surname

The whole ordeal started the 5 august 2013, when i tried to open a bank account for my business, i spoke to many people at FNB bank, with regard to the documentation needed, First they send me documents with not all the information on, i had to phone them back telling them that the docs need to be changed, thereafter days go by without feedback, i phone once again for doc's they email it to, i was requested for my marriage cert which i sent i was later told they cannot process the account further due to they need a latest updated id in my marriage surname, i explained to them i have been and always use that id without any problems, i was also told via email "Do you have another copy of ID that is in your marriage surname as the marriage certificate was issued in 2006 and we require your most recent ID (it does not have to be certified), I explained the reason why my marriage certificate was issued in 2006 is due to the fact that i was married in 2006.

I'm not sure what the issue was or is that i could not be help, but that is just pathetic on there behalf, i wasted my time from the 05/08/2013 to date back n forth with Fnb, and still nothing, Biggest mistake, Be Warned about FNB.
