June 2009 i got a loan from ABSA and on November 2009 i got another loan from Capitec Bank. And one of the conditions with Capitec before granting me a loan was that i had to submit settlements letters from all institutions i got loans from for them to settle it and have one loan.
I got a settlement letter from ABSA which i submitted to Capitec bank as per their request. Capitec bank did settle my loan with ABSA according to my Capitec Bank statement for November 2009.
June 2013 i was contacted by ABSA bank attorneys (Brooks&Luyt Inc) claiming that my ABSA loan was not fully paid and thefore if i think it was fully paid i should produce proof (ABSA Settlement letter). I contacted Capitec for assistance and after two months now they still cannot find proof that they have paid the full amount to ABSA. Also Capitec cannot find the settlement letter i submitted (2009) to them from ABSA.
I also contacted ABSA for my loan account payment statement, they also failed to produce it.
I need Capitec bank to proof that they have fully paid ABSA on my behalf and also produce the settlement letter that i have submitted to them on 2009 before granting me a loan ASAP.
