Today I was sitting minding my own business when I get an SMS from Fray RL Dally attorneys advising me to pay R100 today or legal action will be taken.
Three things:
1. I closed my account over 6 months ago at the Cresta branch
2. It's a cheque account, how can I owe almost R1400 on a 6 months period if these were just service fees of R79 a month?
3. Why didn't Nedbank call me if they had an issue with my account?
I mean I have my house and two of my cars as well as a Personal loan financed with Nedbank and they can't call me if they think I owe them R1374.29? Really?
I am quite disappointed in Nedbank with this type of treatment. I pay for my cars, house and a personal loan every months, it's not like they could not get hold of me.
Now, I spent 30 minutes trying to resolve this, being transferred between collections and legal department and still no joy.
No Nedbank, that's not how you treat your customers.
