This should have been easy!

For nearly a month I have been trying to open a cheque account but today was the final straw! I applied online and was given a account number and told my card would be couriered to me within 5 to 7 working days. Two weeks later when I phoned to enquire about the card, I was told it had been cancelled. I applied for another card and was told it would be at my branch within 5 to 7 working days. Today a card was delivered by courier and when I tried to activate, was told it was cancelled but another card had been delivered to my branch - no notification! When I arrived at the branch, I was asked for my ID, proof of residence and then told I could not get my card because I had applied online and now I had to wait in the queue to see a consultant! The courier could give me a card but not a bank consultant! That was it! One dissatisfied bank customer, is one too many!
