Why a referece numbe

Received 2 mails today from [Email Removed] Saying my banking profile has been activated, and my app has been activated. I didn't change or activated anything on any of my profiles. On the end it gives me a number to dial if you have any queries with a reference number. When I phone the number, I have to choose between options I don't want. After finally deciding to choose the most appropriate one, nobody can use the reference number to help me. I have now spoken to 6 different people at 4 different numbers. Still no joy. As an user on personal banking, and 2 different business profiles, this is really worrying. The two reference numbers: 004745113 and 000000033927941
