Applied for a Credit Card online which was approved. During the approval process I have been telephoned 3x by Nedbank to confirm address, other details & that I have in fact applied for a credit card. The last lady who phoned me on 08/08/2013 at 12h35 advised that it has been approved & when I receive confirmation that my card was delivered, I should attend the bank with proof of address (not specified) & my ID book. On Monday, 12/08/2013 I subsequently received the sms which only stated I must take my ID book. So I had to go back again with proof of address = lease agreement = not acceptable? I then phoned Nedbank & asked if a payslip was acceptable as I dont have accounts or utility bills & Cheryl asked me to email her my payslip so she can confirm with FICA that it is she advised it was acceptable via telephone & email & I should bring the original, which I did today -was advised by the lady who assisted me that she also phoned FICA & now it's not acceptable anymore. I do not have time for this incompetence; I cannot take off work to drive up & down to Nedbank to be told one thing today & another tomorrow.
