Outsurance car insurance and cancellation premium

I have been an outsurance customer from 2011 November up until right now. I had my car insured with them at the premium of 567.00 per month with an access of R7000..

I was called by on Monday 05th August 13 by another insurer who offered me a much cheaper premium with a very low access, I then called outsurance on the Wednesday the 07th August 'to cancel my insurance. The call centre guy I spoke to initially tried to talk me out of cancelling my insurance with outsurance and gave me a few questions he said I should ask the other insurance company to make sure I will not be underinsured. I then decided to take this gentleman's advice call this new insurer and asked them the questions which I was told to ask by outsurance to ask in order to make sure that I am not going to be under insured.

The bottom line here though is that there was no agreement between outsurance and I regarding cancellation, but yesterday there was an amount of R 509 which was taken from my bank account by outsurance and I have no idea why this amount was taken from me.
