A personal loan was taken out in year 2006 and when i lost my job i struggled paying. I was paying the account an amount lesser than the expected installment. The account was handed over to attorneys which didnt collect from me. To my surprise when i went looking for vehicle finance was declined due to a judgement by Nedbank against m name. I got in contact with the Lawyers Maritz, Schreurs & Du Preez who gave me details where to pay account, which i did. Received a paid up letter from the lawyers, to my surprise Nedbank is still sending me smses collecting outstanding monies from me. When i call them to find out what money is it they refer me back to the attorneys whom i have settled the account with. I have requested Cleardebt to assist me having the judgement rescinded. They have requested the affidavit from Nedbank consenting to the judgement being rescinded during June 2013 but todate we still await their response. I would appreciate that all this be sorted urgently as its affecting my life badly.
