Thanks ABSA For Humiliating Me!!

Yesterday I tried using my ABSA Credit Card (which I haven't used in 6 months). My card was declined. This morning I called the ABSA call centre to find out why this happened. I was informed that my credit card has been blocked because apparently I have never provided proof of residence when my account was opened. However, proof of residence was provided the day I went to collect my credit card and I did plenty of transactions and never had a problem. The call centre informed me that I have to take a proof of residence to any ABSA branch and show it to the customer services, where they will unblock my account. I have my ABSA credit card statement with me and I took this along as proof. I went to ABSA Northgate, and I explained to the lady at customer service about my problem. She asked for my ID and proof of residence. She looked at my proof of residence at literally through it back in my face. I asked her what the problem is? She laughed at me, looked at her colleague next to her and they had a good laugh together. She said to me "you can't use your ABSA statement as proof of residence". Thanks ABSA for humiliating me in front of all those people.
