I have 3 complaints about this bank. First off they call me today and explain that my vehicle is in arrears. I pay extra into my vehicle all most every month even though it is a small amount. The phone call starts off that I am in arrears but they need to check why. ABSA sent out a letter 4 months ago when the Post Office (according to them) was on strike. ABSA wanted a confirmation letter that my vehicle was insured. Due to the fact that I did not get any letter they just decided to charge me their own insurance. They have given me an email address to send the confirmation through and then they will credit my account. What a joke. I will guarantee that when I send this letter through they will still be calling me in 6 months time telling me that I am in arrears. How does a bank just charge you their own insurance with out me signing anything. They have the time to call the insurance company and organize me insurance for the car but not the time to call me and confirm my Insurance. I will send through the letter confirming insurance but I feel to no avail as this is my experience with this sad state of a Bank. They will call even after I send confirmation asking for their arrears
