A M&F client bumped into me, causing some damage to my vehicle.
I decided to take on your claim center myself as the amount was minimal (About R8500) and I did not want to risk my perfect record with my own insurance company.
So the began. After 3 quotes of around that area, the assessor only approved the part, not the fitment or paint repair.
So what is the logic in that? So in stead of resolving this, M&F risk annoying their customer for probably less than a month's premium (corporate customer). See the irony in this. To make a point, I am now forced to sue the M&F customer for the whole amount legal fees the added publicity of such an action.
So please M&F explain to us your logic and your Durban branch's arrogance...
How different this could have been. Imagine this: You provide excellent service, drive out to the 3rd party (not make him drive to you), resolve his claim quickly (There is no contest from the client) and pay him according to the 3 reputable quotes presented, even the lowest value. You would probably receive positive comments and even a few new clients. In stead, now I tell my story to the world and your risk loosing a client for R3500! WoW
