29 June 2012!!! I sent an e-mail (as per verbal instruction from the Call Centre) to [Email Removed] - giving notice to cancel Home Owner's Insurance as at 30 June 2012 in lieu of a new insurance policy with a different insurance provider. Proof of new insurance policy as at 1 July 2012 was attached. As the insurance is debited annually a credit adjustment needed to be made to the account.
Despite further e-mails, telephone calls .... July 2013!!! - 13 MONTHS LATER - No progress has been made in crediting the statement - no! rather another year's policy plus interest has been added to the account. Due to pure frustration I forwarded my request to [Email Removed] on the 24th of July 2013. Within 2 days I had a reply to say that my request had been forwarded to [Email Removed] - AGAIN - and that I will be advised shortly. How long is shortly? Another week has passed - must another year? This is beyond ridiculous - I can't even begin to express my absolute disbelief that a financial institution of this magnitude can be so incompetent.
