I requested a statement visa online banking from March 2012 to Feb 2013 and was called by my Westville branch to confirm the request. I agreed to the R20 per page charge. Upon receiving the statement electronically, each month has been printed on a separate page. Now I only use this account to receive my salary and the occasional purchase, meaning that the number of transactions rarely totaled more than about 10 per month. This morning I printed a statement from Jan 2013 to present using online banking, 6 months printed on 3 pages. Why could you not do the same for me and print consecutively on half the amount of pages? I have now been charged R240 for a total of 12 pages when logically, you could have sent it on half the amount of pages and kept the customer happy instead of leaving me with a feeling of being taken for a ride and ripped off.
