Closing my Account

I have been to Standard Bank to close off my account and moved accounts to FNB. I went in to Standard Bank and handed all the information needed to close the account. I was also asked to give a proof of residence to close my accounts. I don't understand why they would need it to close an account but not to use the account? Since then I assumed the account was closed until I called Standard Bank to make sure it was closed and to my surprise they only closed two of my accounts. Unsure why only two were closed and not the others. The Callcenter agent said I cant close the other 2 accounts over the phone but they could close the others? To top it all they charging me an overdraft fee for nothing, there is no funds in my account. Now I have to go back to Standard Bank and close these accounts for a third time. Pathetic service by fa
