Charges on Virgin money credit card

I clear my outstanding debt on my Virgin money credit card on the 21st of June 2013. On the 2nd July I phoned to close my account, by which I was told that somebody will contact me the next day. The 3rd of July a lady called me and confirm that there was no outstanding amount on my credit card, but why would I want to close my credit card, for there in no bank charges if your account is clean. She also inform me that if I used my credit card during the month and clear the balance used on the 29th of a month, there will still be no charges at all. She also mentioned that sometimes you urgent need cash and for this occasions it will be a good idea to have cash on hand. After this conversation I decided to keep the card open. Today I log on, only to make sure what is going on in my account and huge was my surprise to notice that on the 3rd of July an amount of R194.00 went through, after I was informed that there will be no charges if you clear the balance before the end of the month. Suddenly I owned money on my Virgin Card, where I was informed on the 3rd of July that this was not the case. I explained everything via email this morning but did not receive any response back.
