I recently discovered that a loan had been taken out on my name. Of which this does not apply to me as I did not take the loan myself. My Account details were partially correct, yet they were missing some important details with regards to this loan. In February I came to hear that I owe Atlas Finance an amount of R4500. When this loan was queried - no one could supply me with the correct documentation of who took this loan. I have come to enquire about this loan, as Atlas Finance has handed this case over to debt collectors. The amount has become exorbitant of which it is now an amount of R16 500.00 that I would need to settle.
I am utterly disgraced at the amount of which the debt collector can just add onto this amount of which I didn't even take. The service from Atlas Finance is appalling and they just pass you on from one person to the next and cannot supply me with correct documentation of which this loan was taken.
I would like to advice anyone who is thinking of taking a loan through Atlas Finance because not only is their service disgraceful but they rip you off.
It is disgusting how a company can provide a loan to someone without even taking an official ID document.
