Not very sure swipe at all!

We are a busy restaurant & bar in the Cape town city center. We replaced our FNB machines with Sureswipe 6 months ago. It was a massive mistake. Sureswipe offers cheaper charges and rentals. However, they aren't up to the task of providing a level of reliability essential in a busy business.

All of our machines have gone offline for no less than an hour at least once a week with the infuriating "Error 91 please call". What makes this message even more annoying is that calling their service center results in lengthy waits, often more than 10 minutes, only to be told by a representative that they're aware of the problem, their servers have gone down & we need to wait. All of which could have been put into a recorded message, like web providers do.

Unfortunately we're locked into a contract with Sureswipe but as their machines are so terrible we've now ordered Nedbank machines only to discover their rental fees & commission are, in fact, comparable to Sureswipe!

We have received negative feedback on social media because of our card machines not working & angered many patrons who see us as unprofessional because of this.

Final word: DONT USE SUREWIPE MACHINES!!! THEY ARE AWFUL!
