My car was in May and the insurance company settled with Wesbank on 27/06/2013. On 02/07/2013 an instalment was erroneously taken off my account. Wesbank acknowledged this and said they will repay the instalment in 48 - 72 hours. I contacted them on 10/07/2013 and they stated they had system problems and the money will be paid in on 10/07/2013. I call again on Friday 12/07/2013 and was told it will definitely be paid in. Monday 15/07/2013 I called again and I was emphatically told that the money had been paid. After much heated discussion it was discovered it was never paid and after the consultant apologised I was promised it would be paid in during the week. Nothing was paid. Friday 19/07/2013 I was promised that this is it, I will definitely be receiving my payment. 22/07/2013 I called again to say nothing was paid. Another heated discussion that it definitely has been paid (it hasn't, todays technology allows you to see what goes in and out of your account). I have asked the consultant for proof of payment, and he tells me he cannot provide this. I now have to seek legal advise.
