I have a current Vehicle finance with Standard Bank, Prestige Cheque account, credit card and revolving loan account. All these accounts have an impeccable track record.
I applied on-line for new finance which was Declined. On investigation I found that a judgement was awarded against me in December 2013, this was unknown to me as this debt was incurred 7 years ago when I was in business, for an FNB credit card. At that time payment was arranged with the lawyer handling the matter. I made three payments and subsequent to that they moved offices and could not contact them.
I have legal wise who appointed a lawyer to rescind the judgement.
I have advised Standard Bank Vehicle finance and did forward a letter from the lawyer handling the matter. I have had no response or feed back.
