Some unknown individual used an identity document I had lost and opened a credit card account using my identity and Standard Bank department and their branch failed to alert me about the transaction. The bank than decided to take money from my account and their staff FAILED to help me with this matter and it continuously went on for three months. Even after opening a case and handing in the necessary affidavits and forms stating that I wasn't the one who opened the credit card account their frontline staff were still rude, unhelpful and giving me PATHETIC SERVICE... Truth be told their staff does not work together within, head office and main branch level. They give their customers when it comes to solving problems. Do yourself a big favor and switch banks period.
