I contacted Sanlam on 11 June 2013 for a premium holiday. I received a letter from Sanlam on 14 June 2013 to confirm the payment has been stopped. My debit order still went of my bank acount and bounced due to insufficent funds. I emailed sanlam my bank statemnt to refund my bank charge and they refused to accomodate me for causing an Unnecessary charge on my bank account. Why should I be penalised for a mistake from Sanlam?
