ATM CASH WITHDRAWALS

I took out a loan which was transferred into my Capitec Account. When I tried to withdraw the money from the Capitec ATM at Longbeach Mall in June 2013, no money came out. I went to the Standard Bank ATM and withdrew the cash.

My salary was then paid into my account on 25 June 2013. I tried to withdraw cash on this day but no funds were available. I went into the bank to query it and I was told that I made 2 withdrawals in June 2013 against a loan of R 1 380.00. I explained to the consultant that the first attempt to withdraw funds at the Captiec ATM was unsuccessful as I got no money and no receipt, the machine was empty! I also queried how could i go into overdraft when I don't have an overdraft facility and how could Standard Bank allow me to draw money if there are no funds available. I went in again on the 5th July to speak to another consultant, who told me they were busy balancing the ATM for the day and I can expect an answer with in the next week. It has has been 22 days now and I still have not had feedback. I will report this to the OMBUDSMAN as this is day-light.
